Celebrating the future of roller derby with a full day of junior competition, community and fun.
The Younger Games brings junior roller derby skaters from across Aotearoa together for a full day of competition, connection and community.
Volcanic City Rollers is proud to co-host The Younger Games 2026 alongside Northland Roller Derby.
Registration is now open for junior skaters wishing to take part in The Younger Games 2026.
The tournament welcomes skaters from leagues across New Zealand and will feature games across Levels 1, 2 and 3 under JRDA rules.
Before registering, please note:
Players must register individually.
Players are responsible for bringing all required protective equipment.
Tournament fees will be advised once confirmed.
We couldn't run this tournament without our incredible officials.
Whether you’re an experienced skating official, NSO or keen to develop your skills, we’d love to hear from you.
The Younger Games will be a big community effort, and we’ll need volunteers before, during and after the event.
Roles will include event set-up, front of house, game operations, hospitality and pack-down.
Friends, whānau, league members and roller derby fans are welcome to join us and support the next generation of skaters.
Ticketing, venue access, and event-day information will be published closer to the tournament.
